Students are expected to behave respectfully towards tutors and other students.

6. Online Safety

Online lessons may be conducted through approved platforms such as Google Meet.

To maintain safety:

  • Students should join lessons using appropriate accounts.

  • Parents are encouraged to supervise younger students where appropriate.

  • Lessons should take place in a suitable learning environment.

  • Online communication should remain educational and professional.

Distinctive Education reserves the right to end any online session where safeguarding concerns arise.

7. Lesson Recordings

Certain lessons may be recorded for:

  • Educational purposes

  • Revision support

  • Quality assurance

  • Safeguarding purposes

  • Tutor training

Recordings will be stored securely and accessed only where necessary.

8. Safeguarding Concerns

If Distinctive Education becomes aware of information suggesting that a student may be at risk of harm, abuse, neglect, exploitation, or serious welfare concerns, appropriate action may be taken.

Students and parents are expected to follow reasonable safety instructions during sessions.

Student photographs, videos, testimonials, examination results, and success stories will only be used with appropriate parental consent.

Parents may withdraw consent at any time by contacting Distinctive Education.
